Design a Creative Small Business Benefits Plan

Design or redesign a benefits plan to help you attract and retain talented staff!

This workshop is primarily for business owners with a staff of one to 50 employees.  We will spend 15 minutes of the workshop discussing and evaluating health, dental and vision insurance plans available in the NYC area.  The rest of the workshop will be focused on creative benefits offerings, such as commuter benefits plans, stock options, adoption support, employee emergency assistance funds, volunteering, and creative perks and recognition.  During this workshop, we will cover:

• how to evaluate costs, and find hidden benefits savings,
• how to communicate your benefits plan to employees,
• common legal pitfalls of small business benefits and how to avoid mistakes,
• comparisons of costs and values of benefits options, and
• where to go to find resources to setup your benefits plan.
